The State Program Standing Committee advises the Developmental Disabilities Services Division (DDSD) on the performance of the developmental disabilities services system; evaluation of quality and responsiveness of services; development of the State System of Care Plan; department policy; and complaints, grievances and appeals. The Committee is also involved in the agency designation and re-designation process.
The Committee is made up of 15 members, a majority of whom are disclosed service recipients. Five members shall be recipients, five members shall be advocates that represent people with developmental disabilities, and five members shall be professionals with expertise in the area of developmental disabilities. Meeting Schedule: The State Program Standing Committee meets the third Thursday of the month from 9:30 - 12:00
