Conflict of Interest in Case Management, Developmental Disabilities Services

The Department of Disabilities, Aging, and Independent Living (DAIL), Developmental Disabilities Services Division, would like to invite individuals who receive services, family members, advocacy organizations, providers and any other stakeholders interested in Developmental Disabilities Services to a regional public input meeting.

At the meeting, the Federal rules about Conflict of Interest in the delivery of Case Management services will be explained.   The State may be required to make some changes in the way case management is provided, and the options for changes that could be made to comply with the rules will be explained.  This is an opportunity for you to provide feedback about the options before any final decisions are made.

Six public input meetings were scheduled around the state.  Here is the information for the remaining meetings, Public Input Meeting Information   If you are unable to attend a public input meeting, a webinar of the presentation will be posted on the Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA) website.

The handouts that will be used in the public input meetings, and the link and form to provide feedback, can be found on the Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA) website.

Information about the Federal rules and the State's efforts to date.
