DDS Payment Reform - Encounter Data Workgroup
Due to the uncertainties related to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living (DAIL) has decided that activities related to the Developmental Disabilities Services Payment Reform that involve provider agencies will be suspended until further notice. Providers need to focus their energies and resources on the delivery of critical services for individuals and families. DDS Payment Reform - Payment Model Workgroup
In 2018 and 2019, the Payment Model Workgroup was focused on designing the payment mechanism by which providers are paid to provide services. They considered payment model options and implications for providers and people receiving services. They provided input for planning and implementation of a new payment model.
The Payment Model Workgroup ended in 2020.
DDS Payment Reform - Standardized Assessment Workgroup
The Standardized Assessment Workgroup is focused on the adoption of a uniform, standardized assessment tool for determining what services individuals need. The workgroup will review assessment tool options, considerations of transitioning to a new tool and the process for implementation.
